A two hour workshop and lecture on improving all forward bending postures by applying knowledge of anatomy and bio-mechanics of forward bends. Learn how to target the low back and hamstrings and increase the safety and effectiveness of forward bending postures.
You will learn:

Anatomy of the low back, hamstrings and pertinent core and hip muscles in forward bends

The primary and secondary intentions of practicing forward bends

Risks in forward bending postures and five common mistakes that could increase your chance of injury and prevent progress

How to use the muscles of the core and hips when forward bending rather than the pull of the arms and gravity

Breathing patterns for safer and more comfortable forward bends
