The unique setting of this home is at the confluence of two streams and surrounded by pristine natural beauty to stir your heart. Like a painting come to life with romantic rock bridges, quaint stone steps and walls, lush pastures, fruit trees, flowers and two jade-green pond's filled with trout that guests are encouraged to feed with food provided. This enchanting home is surrounded on three sides by 2.5 million acres of U.S. Forest land extending into Montana and Canada. The property has been maintained as a wildlife preserve with deer, elk, moose, bear, wolves, bald eagles, wild turkeys and ermine on or visiting the ranch.  There are no visible neighbors; this is a place of serenity, peace and complete quiet except for nature.

BALD EAGLES

"Each winter from November through February a migrating population of bald eagles visits the Lake Coeur d' Alene area to feed on spawning Kokanee salmon. The BLM began counting bald eagles around Wolf Lodge Bay in 1974. The number of eagles returning to this area varies from year to year."
