LOCATION
Elk Mountain Ranch is a magnificent private ranch on 150 acres. Located 15-minutes east of downtown Coeur d' Alene, Idaho, the property is close to town, yet still feels private and secluded. The 4000 sf house is a spacious, comfortable, home that was built with love by the owners. The heart of the home is the original 1908 homestead cabin, additional rooms were built around the cabin over the years to create an eclectic and original home.
The unique setting of this home is at the confluence of two streams and surrounded by pristine natural beauty to stir your heart. Like a painting come to life with romantic rock bridges, quaint stone steps and walls, lush pastures, fruit trees, flowers and two jade-green ponds filled with trout that guests are encouraged to feed with food provided. The home is surrounded on three sides by 2.5 million acres of U.S. Forest land extending into Montana and Canada. It is not un-common to see bald eagles, wild turkeys, deer and elk on the property.
