Service Description

Designed for students with limited mobility, recovering from injury, beginning Yoga later in life, or those just wanting a very gentle and supported practice. We will be incorporating chairs, walls, blankets, and other props into the practice. The focus in class will be on releasing tension and building strength in the deep and superficial muscles of the back, improving balance, and releasing effects of stress with breathing and mindfulness. You will need a firm, stable chair, without arm rests, to use during class (ex: kitchen table chair, folding metal chair). Additional props you will need: Yoga strap, two yoga blocks, a small blanket.
