Classic Postures w/ Weekly Focus

Each class will begin with a series of the classic postures of Yoga, with the remaining time dedicated to building strength & flexibility in the area of focus for the week. (Scroll down for the focus schedule) Practice will begin with a gentle warm up followed by a sequence of standing postures that will improve strength, flexibility and balance. Body alignment and breathing instructions are provided, as well as how to use props and modify postures when needed. Appropriate for beginning students or those looking for a slow, gentle practice session for relieving tension and the effects of stress.
